Colleges and Universities use eLumen to accomplish tasks ranging from the everyday tasks of assessment, to managing curriculum and creating catalogs, to planning, program review, and reporting, with major stopovers at badging, student portfolios, and pathways to student success. Building on those capabilities, though, eLumen also provides a foundation on which to develop a true culture of assessment, to employ true research methods to answer complex questions regarding assessment data, and to accomplish a true alignment of national competencies and standards with Institutional and Program Learning Outcomes. This roundtable discussion presents approaches to the truth of the matter in all of these areas at two institutions, a college offering liberal arts and specialized programs at the undergraduate and graduate levels and a university focused on specialized graduate education.
